Giving a Voice to the Most Vulnerable
The problem: For over three decades, child abuse rates in the United States have remained largely unchanged. Part of the issue lies in a lack of public understanding around the long-term impact of abuse and how it shapes lives far beyond childhood.
The insight: Child abuse doesn’t end when childhood does. Without intervention, the trauma often perpetuates itself—creating a cycle where victims can become future abusers.
The idea: We developed an awareness campaign designed to make this cycle impossible to ignore. By bringing visibility to the long-term consequences of abuse, the work aimed to reignite public conversation and encourage people to seek resources that can help break the cycle. Rather than speaking about victims, the campaign sought to give them a voice, making the issue more human, immediate, and urgent
